The Smarties weren’t very smart after all, they didn’t know where Tootsie Roll Pop had gone to.
Goobers told us to talk to Baby Ruth, but she just babbled on about seeing TRP at the drug store with Three Musketeers.
So TRP had a gang now, armed to the teeth. Formidable foes indeed. This case was getting stickier by the minute.

We got a call that the Junior Mints from the scout troop had been taken down and a few of the Sweet Tarts that worked the streets at night, were missing.
The Cotton Candy twins were in my office.
Pink spoke first, “Detective Snickers, our carnival is in shambles, Three sword wielders and their large headed leader came through and destroyed the place, it looks like a pinata exploded.”
Blue said, “You’ve go to catch them before the circus comes to town. My friend Circus Peanut is threatening to take his show to Sour Patch City instead of here in Candyland.”

“I have my best agents on the case, and I’ve consulted the famous Detective Gobstopper, to join us in the chase,” I said.

    i like how you introduced the new candies and how well you incorporated them into the story. You maintained the charm and the whimsical feel of the story. Well written!

    Candid crime, or candied crime? These are really fun. It’s like the dream I had when I was little after playing Candyland for the first time. It also reminds me of Hershey Park.
