The Point

I have all these thoughts,
Racing in my head,
Most are troublesome,
Some are more relaxing.
I’m not sure,
What is to become of me?
I mean,
What’s the point?
You live,
You die,
Why do we live?
Why don’t we just say goodbye?
Loved ones will live,
For a short while,
But in the end,
We all die.
So what’s the point?
To this life.
From the beginning,
To the end,
A cold world that we live in.
Why isn’t the time now?
Why must we wait?
Impatience we may have,
But we are really filled with curiosity,
But now I know the point,
The point to life,
Friends and family,
Love and hate.
It’s all the same.
Sooner or later,
We are all forgotten.
We are all prisoners.
That is the point.
