The low hissing came again.
“Tell me what I need to know.”
She tried to make a sound but her mouth just wouldn’t form the words. She struggled but it only seemed to make it worse.
“Ah, now you are beginning to feel the effects of the poison. Now, tell me what i need to know and i’ll let you live.”
She managed to speak one word. But that was all she needed to say. *
He stared at the door. It was the same as before. The someone, whoever it was, must have either ran into or have had to crash onto the floor.
Then the screaming began.
