“What in the world? Who sent me this?” thought Carolyn to herself as she grabbed her history book and ran to class.

“Carolyn, I will not tolerate any of my students being late! Especially if the said student has been late for my class since the beginning of the year!” said Mrs. Manning in her most demanding voice. Mrs Manning was the most hated teacher in the highschool! She was really fat and liked to boss people around.

“I am sorry Mrs. Fatty…” whispered Carolyn

“What was that?” Mrs. Manning asked “Did I hear someone ask to go to the principal’s office? Go NOW !”

“Great… now I have really done it… not only did I get this mysterious V – Day card, but now I get sent to Principal Hetler’s office!” Carolyn thought angrily as she marched through the classroom door and down the hall to what she thought was her imminent doom.
