Coco yelped.
I yelped.
He smiled.
“Well?” he said, smug.
“No way, Jose,” I said firmly, planting my hands on my hips.
“But I drove you to the vet’s,” he said.
“Still not fair, bub,” I fixed him with a glare.
“Fine; Then a hug,” he said.
I thought for a moment.
“Fine, a hug is alright.”
I walked up to him. He hugged me for a short while. And then, blushing like a nut, I leaned up and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
I ran away, Coco at my heels like a mad-dog.
“It’s only because you drove me to the vet!” I yelled over my shoulder.
He sat, hand on his cheek, stunned.
He’d got more than he bargained for.
