I should have lied.
“Mel, it’s in the past.” I said. “Plus, you said that you wouldn’t get angry.”
“I am not angry!” She said angrily.
I wasn’t going to say “Yes you are.”
I’m not that stupid
“I’m sorry.” I said.
“Hayden! You should have told me then I-”
“Then you would have never went out with me!” I said. “Do you honestly think that I would like Anna if I was chasing after you!?”
“Yes!”
“WHAT!” I exploded. “Anna and I crashed and burned in the first week! Plus, now I’ve finally gotten Matt away from us and you still don’t trust me!”
“Thats because you went out with my best friend without telling me!”
I threw my hands up in the out of exasperation.
“Well! What do you want me to say, Melanie!!” I exclaimed. “Is there anything I can say that will make you believe that I’m not into Anna! We haven’t talk in months!”
Mel just stayed silent and didn’t move. I was left waiting for an answer
