The play ended and the theatre patrons quickly emptied into the street. It was a chilly crisp October evening and soon the streets were empty. All of the shows cast and crew left and the ancient theatre was closed up for the night.
Desiree’ Reynolds, the shows star, tied a kerchief over her hair. She put on her trench coat. Brr Philadelphia was a cold city. Thank God in a few more days they were leaving for sunny Florida. She pushed open the heavy door of the Kimmel Center and hurried out towards the hotel where the rest of the cast and crew was staying.
It was 6am and Kim Brown was walking her dog before work. She loved teaching and she loved her beautiful cocker spaniel Patches.They were walking down Camac when all of a sudden Patches began to bark and claw at some garbage cans. Thinking it was just some uneaten chicken, Kim tried to pull Patches off. But then a bloody hand and head with a kerchief rolled out. Kim stifled a scream and pulled out her cell phone. School would be late this morning.
