Saint Chuck's Regrets Challenge: Regrets, I've Had A Few

To quote my favorite song, sung by the incomparable crooner Frank Sinatra, in the most memorable of his songs, My Way ( written by Paul Anka), “regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again too few to mention.”

Don’t get me wrong, my life is far from perfect. I’m not as content with my life as I was before my mother passed away late last year, but I will get there again.
I’m satisfied with where I live in Southern New Jersey, I truly love it here, when it does snow, it’s never too much like other states, we don’t get tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, mudslides, earthquakes, and I’m not that far from the seashore (beach).
I have a lot of free time now, I have a great supportive family, the best friends a guy could ever hope to have.
Given the chance to live my life over again, I’d do it all the same way, My Way.
I want to be a published author more than I want to breathe, but I have no regrets about anything I’ve done or not done to accomplish that goal.

    Glad to hear your outlook is so positive. My only struggle in attempting this challenge is picking the regret.

    I need to be more like you, and think more positively about life in general. Reading this made me feel better about myself and what I’ve accomplished up to this point. And Frank Sinatra is the man, of course.

    wow.. lots of responses from our fellow Ficliteers.. Hope this gets featured.. Come on Kev.. ya know your gonna do it! I hope this piece inspires others to follow in your wave of positive thinking.. I would be so proud.. But wait, I already am.. My best friend wrote this.. how could I not be?
