A nurse rushed up to Mrs. Jonas, whispered something in her ear then hurried away.
Mrs. Jonas sighed.
“What’s wrong?” I asked with concern.
“Somehow word got out about the accident. There’s a crowd of fans gathering outside.” she told me.
The brothers sighed and looked as if they knew it would be awhile before they could leave.
“Don’t worry.” said Mrs. Jonas as if reading the boys minds. “I’ll figure something out.” she went off.
Suddenly a line from one of my favorite songs flashed into my head.
We’ll be runnin’ so fast we can fly, tonight.
“I have an idea!” I said suddenly. “I know how we can escape the fans.”
“Well let’s hear it!” Joe cried, looking relieved.
I hurriedly began to tell them the plan.
