Ficlets

Walls

I slid to the floor and leaning against the wall that was my savior when Pete broke up with me, urgh memories. “Let’s try again.” Jacob suggested. “No, I don’t want to ever see his face again. He looked so angry at me and I hate when he’s angry.” Jacob mumbled, “Why don’t you just sit in the car then?” I whispered, “I’m not moving anywhere.” I hugged my knees to my chest. “Sofia come on please.” He begged. He reached a hand out to me but I declined it. “Jacob don’t. Just don’t make me move anywhere. Don’t make me please.” He stopped dead as Pete opened the door and stood over me. “I don’t want you here.” Pete barked. “I don’t want to be here.” I replied. He hissed at me, “Then leave.” He nugded me with his foot. “Hey, stop it man.” Jacob argued. Pete nugded me again and it appeared to be more like a kick. “Pete calm down.” Jacob urged. I tried to get up, but Pete pushed me down angrily. It seems that either I’m attracted to walls (no) or people just love pushing me into them. I’m guessing I’m screwed now.
