Mr. and Mrs. Jonas had come in a silver SUV . As soon as the SUV was gone and safely down the street, I screamed at the top of my lungs. Louder than I ever had.

Mom came over and hugged me. “Emily, you were just with the Jonas Brothers!”

“I know!” I shrieked.

“I can’t believe it,” Dad said with little enthusiasm.

“Well, honey, a lot has happened today. I’m just so glad you’re okay. Why don’t you go upstairs and take a nap?” my mother told me.

“Okay,” I replied.

I didn’t expect them to call me. I didn’t expect to ever hear from them again.

.............But I got a phone call the next morning.
