The winners of the sports challenge, for getting to the heart of what sports are all about, Pride, Adrenaline Teamwork.

#3 The adrenaline award, for the basketball story, Homecourt, goes to Tad Winslow, the feeling of being there on the court was palpable.

#2 The embodiment of teamwork award for the hockey story His Skates, about the loss of a teammate and playing to win in his name, goes to Lonewriter a heartfelt tale of dedication and love of a teammate.

..and the Winner:
#1 sport story, a father’s Pride, the Sights and Sounds Come Alive Award, playing for the pure love of the game, goes to Tad Winslow’s entry- Graveyard of Empty Hoops.

I enjoyed reading all the stories, thanks to those that entered and those that read and enjoyed them as much as I did.
