Everything seems to have a reason, right? Whether it’s to push you to try harder, or to prove something. But what does it really mean to have a reason?
Answer:
I am
always
being told
to stop
giving excuses.

And I’d always
argue
that reasons
are true,
whereas excuses
and just
ehh, lies.
This matters.

Then,
there’s
the constant reminder
in quotes that,
“everything happens for a reason.”

I think
that’s true,
but
only because
sometimes destiny
is life’s reason.
Or life
is a reason in of itself.

Whether or not
things happen
for a reason
or he’s running out of excuses,
its life
and its mine;
its yours.

It doesn’t matter why.

It doesn’t matter how.

It doesnt even matter at all.

Just that, it did, in fact, happen.
