Fire in the apartment complex... 3

I run into the hallway and down the stairs… my dog has stopped barking now but i still don’t think about it that much. I get to the bottom of the staircase and look both ways… there is fire down the other staircase… and the hallway to the escape ladder is engulped with flames. I look around trermbling with the fear that I might not get out of here alive. Just then my dog wiggles out of my arms barks at me and runs down the hallway without any fire… I follow her not knowing what is about to happen next….

    I need to think about it tho… I wrote it down like five different times… but still wasn’t satisfied with myself… ugh!
