“Extra, extra! read all about it.
The Bears vs. the Cubs! Tomorrow night!”
the newspaper guy exclaimed.
“Hey, are you going to going to the game?” I asked Jesse.
“Uh, I don’t know? Football games and I really don’t mix.” She said with a queasy voice.
If you didn’t know the Bears
are our school football team, and the Cubs are our rival team from San Diego, California.
I really hope we win,
because they stole our statue last year
and we want to get them back.
