Dante was home and very tired after a good day of work. He was lying in his bed when he felt his cell phone buzz in his pocket. He picked it up.
“Hullo?” He groaned.
“Hey.” He heard Eve’s voice on the other line.
“Oh..Hi.” Dante said more clearly. “Sorry ‘bout not being about to run away an’ all.”
“It’s okay.” She said. “I’m just hanging out with some friends.”
“Great. I hope you have a good time. I’m really sorry.”
“I told you, it’s no problem.”
“Okay, I gotta get some rest.”
“Sure.” Eve said. “Love ya.”
“You too.” Dante said without thinking twice. “Buh-bye.”
He hung up. After that, he slept pretty easily just cause he now knew that Eve loved him.
This isn’t so bad. Dante thought just as he went to sleep. Dante didn’t notice that a lot of time, and missed calls, passed by while he was asleep.
He would get to them later.
