Another Meeting in the Hallway

Eve spent the night alone, yes alone, in her parents cabin. She felt a little bad about lying to Dante, but she had to. There was no way she was going to make him feel worse then he probably aready did about not being able to spend time with her.

She got up and put out the fire. Then she called her mom again. There was still no answer, but Eve left a message this time. She promised her mom she’d be back in the morning. She said good night and then went to bed.

She woke up around 7 a.m and closed up the cabin. By 7:30 she was in her car and started the long drive back to her home and reality. She made it home fairly quickly. She showered, dressed, and then was back in her car on her way to school.

Eve walked into school with her hair still wet and went to her office to get a pass to her fourth hour, which had just begun. On her way to her class she bumped into a boy standing in the middle of the hallway.

“Whoops! I’m sorry.” She exclaimed. The boy turned around and she smiled. “Oh, Dante!”

    Hmmm. Something seems strange, like something is going on with Dante. I’l just have to read the sequel and see!
