I’ve been planning this day for three weeks. It’s the day I am going to ask out my love- on his shoe.

I know you are probably wondering why his shoe. Well, let me explain. He is moving to a different school, so he told everyone to sign his shoe on his last day. I’ve been planning what to say since he told us. Here’s what I’m gonna write:

I’m going to miss you, so I must leave you with a last statement: I love you.

So I walk into school full of confidence. Only my best friend Kaitlyn knows my plan. She is talking my ear off until lunch – aka signing time. We walk into the cafeteria and find a big mob next to Michael’s shoes. Taking a deep breath, I plunge into the crowd. Finally, I get my hands on a sharpie. I hesitate, then begin to write…

    aww man, that stinks. I hope I never hold back when it comes to feelings. I do though and i found myself in almost exactly the same situation before

    Aww, probably for the best. Always a bit of heartache with the last minute professions of love. Trust me; I’ve been on the receiving end a couple of times.
