Not as slow as others, but by many I’ve been beat
I’m not that clever of a child, not by my standards, at least
Creative—just a little, when the words inside my head
Have come together to make something that the reader’s glad they’ve read.
Oh, God gave me two hands to type, but just one brain to think
Little know they balence when starting off I use ink
Even if it’s just one sentence, it makes it so much better
My, my, lookie there, look at every letter
But some of you won’t notice what a clever thing I’ve done
That is, a clever thing for a not so clever one.
Meps, I can’t come up with a last line… um… my poem is done.
