"I'm Not an Alcoholic"

Taylor regained consciousness in the hospital emergency room. She could see her friend Rae standing off to the side.

Nurses were standing over her and a doctor was shining a flashlight in her eyes.

“Wha.. what happened?, why am I here in the hospital?”,Taylor said in a high pitched panicked voice.

“You passed out Mrs. Winehouse, I am Dr. Bhourghari, I’m a neurologist. I’m just going to ask you a few questions, if you’re up to it,” the doctor said.

“Ok,” replied a unusually reticent Taylor.

“I understand you complained of a headache?”, he inquired.

“Yes, it may have been from the paint, I’m a painter, or the appletini I had,” she said.

“Do you drink often Mrs. Winehouse?, the doctor asked, eyebrows raised.

“No, no of course not, I am not an alcoholic,” Taylor said indignantly.

“I’m sorry Mrs. Winehouse, I had to ask, please take no offense,” he said apologetically.

“Rae, did you call Adam?”,Taylor asked.

“Yes dear, he’s on his way,” Rae replied.

    I see the reference there, Mrs. Winehouse. Nice name to use. I wonder what her problem is but this definitly adds to the conflict.

    HMM MIGHT HAVE TO CHECK HER HEAD BEFORE SOME THING GOES SERIOUSLY WRONG .
