Dante received Eve’s text in the morning.

I’m sorry. Come over to my place? He sent.

He wanted to keep it short and simple, plus Eve quickly sent a text back forgiving him and promising to stop by his place.
So far, the day was off to a good start. Dante waited around his house for a little bit, probably watching a little TV here and there.
At about three in the afternoon, Eve finally came. He ran out the door to kiss her.
“Hey.” She smiled.
“Hey.” Dante echoed.
They both drove around in Eve’s car a little and stopped at a few places to sit and look around.
They stopped in a park and were walking around when Dante started kissing Eve’s cheek.
“I love you.” He murmured.
“I love you too.” Eve said, putting a hand on the side of his face.
