It's A Cat's Life for Fluffy

My owners leave me for days at a time and I see no one. They leave my bowl of cat kibbles on the counter, and a bowl of water.
They leave the kitty litter box in the laundry room, with the door opened.

It is very quiet here. Sometimes I look out the sliding glass doors and watch the birds in the birdfeeder.

My cat friends lay on the deck and mock me because I cannot go outside.

I lay on the sofa about twenty hours a day and sleep.

I dream of chasing those birds and freedom.

When my owners come home, if I decide to give them any attention, I let them rub my head and belly, if I feel like it I purr.

All in all, it’s a cat’s life for me.

    Omg.. You illustrated the poor souls life with such magnificent detail.. I liked the cat friends mockery..And the cat wanting to have freedom. Geesh the cat has it made-in-the-shade, and yet he’s (or she’s) still not satisfied. How interesting.. Hey cat.. snub the owners.. let them know how you really feel.

    I like this story! My cat is much more pampered than the one you talk about, but his life is pretty much the same!
