We’re trapped in an irreversible system
that’s spiraling into chaos,
and there’s no coming back,
flowing like a river
that’s draining out into entropy.
Didn’t you know

even when your thoughts are
slightly more scattered.
Everything happens in a one-direction way.
In a current that can never be fought,
our lives scream along at the speed of light.

So I love winter, but summer’s my season. Aimless driving, summer music, open windows, sunglasses, and thunderstorms seem to renew me. Late nights and lots of inspiration. Yeah, summer’s my season.
I’m looking forward to the prospect of beginning college in the fall, which is a little scary and a lot exciting.
And all at once, the crowd begins to sing.
