One, two, three o’clock, four o’clock, rock,
Five, six, seven o’clock, eight o’clock, rock,
Nine, ten, eleven o’clock, twelve o’clock, rock,
We’re gonna rock around the clock tonight!
“What are we doing?”Matt asked Karissa, somewhat pleased that he hadn’t been abandoned.
“We’re entering the couples dance competition! Do you know how to do the Twist?”Karissa asked.
“Yes! I do!”
At last,something I can do that won’t make me look like a fool!
Most of the couples on the dance floor seemed confused by the random change in music, but doing the Twist with Karissa was the most fun Matt had in a long time. When the song ended Karissa and Matt were still in the competition.
“Having fun?” she asked, her cheeks flushed from the dancing.
“Surprisingly,yes.”
“Aren’t you glad I dragged you out of your seat?” she prodded.
Matt rolled his eyes.”I would’ve gotten up eventually.”
“Liar!”she cried.
I love the way she says that. Matt thought. Then he blinked. Whoa, no you don’t! No more women! Remember?
