On that cold, dark night
When I finally knew the fright
Of a cold, lost child
Eating scraps and running wild

On that cold, dark street
No one there you’d like to meet
And the cold, lost world,
Spinning, tuning, ever twirled

Through the cold, dark sky
No ever will know why
My cold, lost soul
Turning black and cold like coal-
