Tobin and Flandip recover and talk

Flandip and Tobin felt the side-effects of time travel begin to wear off. When Jocinda had said ‘Magrathea’, they knew they were close to resuming their own time frame.

‘Wearing off of the side-effect of 5 billion years of time travel’ later, they looked up at Jocinda. Blurred vision, the last effect to migrate through, made her look like nothing more than a cute pair of fuzzy bunnies.. with a strange growth on their backs – which was rather refreshing as the mice knew that snakes could never wear bunny slippers.

Flandip finally looked up at Jocinda with clear eyes.. “Hi.”, he said, not quite knowing how else to make someone’s acquaintance. “Is there anyway we could have done this earlier?”, he added to Hunter’s Catfish.

“I beg pardon.”, Jocinda said. “What do you mean, ‘Done this earlier’?”.

“Look, time isn’t a big deal to you and all, but we have been waiting here for 4.5 billion years for you to show up. Granted, the first few million years weren’t too bad.”, said Tobin.
