Temporary Blindness

The last thing I remember was feeling a great amount of anger and pain… Then everything went calm and black…
I sat up slowly as if awaking from a dream. A very real dream. I couldn’t open see, and my whole body felt heavy.

“Hello?” I called out tentitavly.

“Oh Anya, Anna!” I heard a voice cry out, startled.

“D..Dailey?” I asked, unsure of whose voice I had just heard.

“Yes. Can’t you see me Any.. Anna?” Dailey asked and moved closer to me.

“N..no. Isn’t there just something over my eyes..?” asked, fear gripping me. I raised my hands up and felt my eyes. Thy were open and there was nothing covering them. “Dailey!?” I yelled out, desperatly failing my arms to feel for him.

“Anna, Anna! Calm down. It’s okay, I promise. Temporary blindness is a common side effect when you perform a spell without fully understand it.” Daily assured me taking my hand. I began crying and I felt Dailey wrap his arms around me.

“How long..?” I asked his shoulder.

”..” He hestitated. “About a week..”
