After Dante got up, and walked home. Apparently, Eve had already left in her car. He walked in to his house, and called out to see if his mother was home. She wasn’t.
He felt bad about leaving Eve behind, but she called him a little later, so it wasn’t that much of a problem. He slept a little bit, but thats about the most interesting thing that happened.
It was just too bad that as soon as he woke up, the dreams that colored his scarred mind seemed to be pulled out from under him, along with the rest of the month. In flashes, always in flashes.
One day, he was sitting on his couch, watching another monotonous television program, when his cell phoe buzzed in a call from Eve.
“Hey.” He smiled.
“Hey.” Eve echoed.
“Whatssup?”
“Come to my place, I have a surprise for you.” Eve said.
Before Dante even responded, he heard Eve chuckle and hang up.
