On the Third Day

After two years of not thinking about Nathan, I find that box, and start again. I know I don’t like him anymore, I am sure of that. Yet, I keep thinking of him. Two years! I’m 17 already!

It is the third day Tyler has been gone and the third day since I had found the box, I was fed up. I needed to find something to take my mind away from that.TV didn’t work, neither did music, or talking to the couple girls I was friends with. I decided to talk a walk.

I walked through the park across from the apartment building. You ever notice that when you don’t want to see or notice something, that’s when you see or notice it the most?Well, that’s what is happening here.

Where ever I walked I saw things that reminded me a Nathan. Kinda like balloons, I know they are random but he had given me one the night he asked me to be his girlfriend. There was a certain hot dog cart where he had bought me a hot dog on our first official date.

That and many other things reminded me. Finally I gave up and headed back.

    Nice job giving a good idea what she’s going through, the whole conflicted emotions state common when it comes to ex’s. The third paragraph wound up a bit awkward in the wording…I think it’s the didn’t. Just a thought.

    Little things remind me of my ex from time to time, it is really bothersome. I don’t want to forget the memories either because I learned a lot from them. Very nice, I can really relate to it.

    I hate that, you see one thing that reminds you of something you don’t want to think about, and then soon the most random things keep reminding you of it. Awesome job though =)
