The Tower of Esimed

The Tower of Esimed loomed over Lonesville like a hungry animal surveying its prey. The hundreds of windows that lined the face of the building were like eyes that were constantly watching the dwellers of the city. The tower had been empty for as long as anyone could remember. The only other thing anyone knew about the strange building was that a mysterious murder had been committed there over 100 years ago. The Tower of Esimed held many virulent secrets that lay undiscovered for centuries until one brave girl decided to venture into the tower and solve the mystery once and for all.

Isabella Davis was standing outside the tower. A nearby church bell tolled midnight while a thick fog hung like despair over the citizens of Lonesville. She began to investigate the mysterious building; she wanted to learn every little secret about it. Isabella was examining the windows when a horrible face peered out at her from inside the building. She screamed and woke up with a start.

    A good start. But please please please leave a blank space between paragraphs. It’s much easier to read and only costs 1 extra character.

    Throat Wolf if really on this broken up paragraph kick, but you only have two paragraphs, and they’re separated. Nice job with the imagery. The face in the window wound up a bit sudden at the end, though you probably meant it that way.
