Every day, every night, before i slept, before i woke… I saw you. Even before I knew you, I saw you… I dreamed of lying next to you, running my fingers through your soft hair gently and kissing the silken skin of your cheek softly.
I drempt many times of you, yet there was only one thing I could not imagine… One thing that I longed for that my dreams could not simulate…
My heart ached to hear those three sweet words… And though i saw you say them in my dreams, the words did not come. They played with my heart and taunted me, like a cat playing with a ball of yarn…
After several years, i wondered if id ever hear those words. I stopped having the dreams, and my faith in finding you eventually faded…
And now, gazing into your deep sapphire eyes, the dreams come back to me, and i smile as you hold me ever closer and whisper the words ive longed to hear for so long into my ear…
“I love you…”
