It's Funny that I Notice (challenge)

It’s funny how rubber duckies squeak.

Really, what type of duck squeaks? No, squeaking is reserved for toys of the dog and small child variety, laughing persons, people trying unsuccessfully to sing like an opera star, and adolescent boys.

It’s funny how there’s an off-white, but not an on-white.

It’s funny how there’s a baby blue, but no baby pink.

It’s funny how people with a lisp can’t even say the name of their quirk. How cruel is that? And the fact that the phobia for long words is super-long (hippopotomonstrosequipadaliaphoba)
and the fear of short words is short.
And, on top of all that, the fear of palindromes…is a palindrome!

It’s funny how people hate awkward silences, even though silence doesn’t truly occur.

Mostly, it’s really funny how I notice all of this.
