Eve spent about an hour talking to her mom and telling her about her night with Dante. She thanked her mom for the suggestion of a movie night and then hurried to her room to call Dante. She picked up her house phone and dialed.

“Gabby? Don’t tell Eve ok?” Dante said after the very first ring.

“Don’t tell me what?” Eve asked sourly into the phone.

“Shit..” Dante muttered. “N..nothing.”

Eve hung up her phone and shook her head. No way.. She thought as a single tear escape her eye. She picked up her cell and looked for a number.

“Hi.. Gabby? It’s Eve.” She said into her cell.

“Oh Eve! I’m so sorry. You must be devastated me and Dante are back together again.. I know he was your first boyfriend and all.. But you should have known he would come back to me. I mean, he couldn’t keep his lips off me!” Gabby gushed into Eve’s ear.

“Thanks Gabby!” Eve said and closed her phone.

I know they kissed.. but was it Dante’s fault..? Eve wondered as another tear made it’s way down her face.
