    It never is, is it? As convincing a reality as words can weave, it’s not quite the same. But you know…maybe that’s the way it should be.

    You think of something great, you know it’s a brilliant idea, but…somehow your characters just don’t want to put it as wonderfully as you thought they could. One of the most interesting parts of writing, I think.
