Dante’s heart skipped about three beats.

Wait…no…Eve will believe me as long as I don’t slip up again..

Dante ran out of his house and straight to Eve’s. He franticly rapped his knuckles on the door. Eve answered.

“Eve!” He said, getting fake tears ready. “Gabby and I kissed, she was waiting for me in my house after I l-left.”

He fell to his knees, a fake tear dropped on the sidewalk. He wanted to look up, but didn’t.

No, not yet. He thought.

After a few seconds, he looked up. Eve had a look of genuine sympathy on her face.

...Yes! He thought, doing his best to suppress a self-satisfied smile.

Dante was an amazing actor, and he used it to his advantage.

He got up and kissed Eve meaningfully, as if she was the only one.

“I would never cheat on you.” He said, looking her strongly in the eye. “Never.”

    I’m not lliking him very much right now, Never Explain.. And this is gettin harder and harder to write as if I don’t know things like he’s acting and that he let Gabby kiss him.. Scowls at Dante
