And so I drive home, happy as can be. I can’t get Faith’s face out of my head. I pull into the drive way and park the car, still think of Faith. I continue to until I open my front door. Who do I see? Beth, my cousin from New York.
“Hey Bernard! Long time no see!” She says as she hugs me.
“Hey, Beth. What are yu doing her?” I ask.
“Oh, well my mother’s going on this big trip to France for her compainy so I’m gunna be staying her and going to school with you for three weeks!Won’t that be fun!?” She says.
“Yeah, it will be.You’ll have to meet Faith, she’s my girl friend.” I say. That’s when my parents even look at me.
My dad stands up and say, “Well it’s about time! I thought you two would never say anythin’ about that to each other! See Kate, I told you they would fall in love.”The last part he said to my mother.
“Awe, my little cousin has a girl friend! Well lucky her!” Beth says, that makes me blush a bit.
So the next morning Beth decides to walk to school so I can pick Faith up myself.
