Is this worth it?

I stared the boy down as i watched him sit next to my girlfriend in the audience. I tapped on Lyla’s shoulder, “Who’s the guy sitting next to Lindsey in the audience?”
She strained her eyes, “Oh, that’s Will.. he was in her GYSO Orchestra a while back… why?”
I clicked my tongue, “Nothing… look, here comes Mr. P, stand up.”
We stood up with our instruments in hand, and Mr. P gave a low bow to the audience.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, Woodstock High!”
I sat and scanned my music
easy..
I turned my gaze toward Will, who was smiling and whispering into Lindsey’s ear. I didnt look at my music, only glared at him the entire performance, playing the music from memory. My eyes didnt leave him for a second, and i caught his a few times, only for him to look away swiftly, as if afraid of me.
We stood after our last song and Mr. P bowed again. As we walked off the stage, i couldnt find Lindsey in the mass of people.
I sighed
Is this worth it…?

    of course its worth it! they havent talked in like a year! no one holds on to something like that for a year, especially if they dont think theyre ever gonna c each other again!
