We all invited Macy into the guy’s house. We sat and talked, my arm around her shoulders the whole time as I sat cross-legged on Nate’s bed.

“I’m gonna call Tori.” I announced.

Mike grinned evilly at me, I returned his look with a from. Nate’s expression resembled a corpse. Macy jabbed me in the ribs and gave me one of her patented stares. I wnked at her and called Tori.

I told her to stop by Macy’s house, and ordered Mike and Macy out of the room. It was just me and Nate.

“Play it cool.” I said.

Nate’s expression remained still, but he nodded.

“You’ll like her.” I said, patting him on the shoulder and walking out so tori could come in.
