“Faith, you’re kidding right? I’m Bernard, you know, your friend, your boyfriend.”

“Um, no. I can’t say I do. And to tell you the truth, I don’t really remember anything from the past like 5 weeks. And you, who are you again? Am I supposed to know you?”

I stare up at Faith’s mother and she runs out shouting for the doctor.

“Faith, you really don’t remember me?” I ask again in disbelief.

“Yes, I don’t. At least I don’t think I do. What’s your name?”

“I’m Bernard. I’ve been your friend forever. I’m your boyfriend because you kissed me.” I answer.

“I kissed you?! Really?! Well, that’s exciting! Never thought I had it in me! Well then.” She says smiling. So she really doesn’t remember me? The last five weeks and me….wow.

Faith’s mother comes back in and says, “The doctor said that they will have to do an x-ray to see everything. They said it was a bit odd that she forgot all about you.”

“It is weird,” I say as I look back down to Faith who is looking up at me, confused.

    well she did hit her head kinda hard you guys.. and i think there is a such thing as selective amnesia.. well if there’s not there is now =)
