Ask her already! She’s stand right there!! No. I can’t. She wants to go with Warren, and if I asked it would be weird. But this might e my only chance! Maybe I should… I argue with myself.

“Uh…“ I began to say before Macy cut me off.

“Listen, Drew, I have something I wanted to ask you…” She began to say, a little nerves. Is she gunna ask me?

“This is hard to say…but um…”She said, now I cut her off. Too quick, assuming I knew what she was going to ask.

“Yes. Yes. Yes. Totally!” I say, a little too happily. But then she smiled at me, just as excited.

“So, because you are both on the football team you’ll talk to him about!! And tell him that he should ask me!! Yes! Thank you so much Drew! I absolutely owe you one!” She says, hugging me. What did I just do!

She runs to class happily, leaving me in the hallway, still grasping what had happened. I am on the football team, and so is Warren, and I just agreed to get him to ask Macy to the prom. The dance I wanted to bring her to.
