Hello. Yes, it’s who you think it is. It’s me; the blade of grass down here. I know you probably think you’ve gone insane, but before you pick me, I want to tell you something.

Now I know you may think that picking one blade of grass couldn’t do any harm. But imagine what would happen if everyone in the world said that. If they did, there would be many bare fields, many bare meadows. Much of our earth would be lost, the natural beauty ruined.

If there was no grass, cows, horses, and other animals couldn’t eat. Then we wouldn’t have hamburgers, and other animals would lose their vital resources as well. The whole ecosystem could be ruined, if there was no grass in the world.

So you see, I am not saying this to sound mean, but us blades of grass really are important. So before you go picking us like we’re nothing, think again. Because we only want what’s best for you, and whats best for our earth.
