Street Fight Love

or i guess you could say, thats what you get for dating a guy in a crew. my parents hated it, trust me on that, my dad had othe ideas for his ‘little girl’ but i never was one to follow set guidelines.
“chill Hayden. Chill.” Alex said, wrapping his arm around my neck and pulling me clsoe, planting a kiss on my forehead. “Were just gonna teach those jerks a lesson, no big deal. i promise you, you wont get hurt.” He said. of course i wouldnt, Alex would jump infront of a bullet for me. and i knew it.
“Its not me im worried about.” I murmured softly, reaching one hand up to trace the faint, jagged scar that rand fronn his temple to his jaw line. knife fight. he looked at me softly, giving a small laugh.
“Dont you worry about me Haydem Gemson. you still got that switch blade i gave you?” He asked.i nodded. switchblades were good in a town like this.they were intimidating.
“Good. you know the rules. you dont come near the fight unless you get attacked, and even then, only attack whoever attacks you.” He said.

i really hate to say this…but this kinda is frustrating. I know the whole creative commons license and all, but i’m just gonna continue the series as if this didn’t happen for the sake of keeping my sanity.

It’s a bit jumbled and quick, but I thought it was a decent spin off of the presented reality or story to go in a slightly different direction than I think Never Explain was hoping for.

Could still be an interesting spin, although there is a continuity error here as THX had established the narrator’s name as “Chuck” in the previous Ficlet. Perhaps changing the name from “Hayden” to “Charlene?”

i like reading the side tracks – makes me want to see whether the other authors also read them and try to incorporate some of the ideas.
