After Brian left, Lilly turned to Macy, a stunned expression on her face.

“Can you believe it!” Kate exclaimed.

Finally coming back to reality, Lilly started jumping up and down.

“I can’t believe it!” she squealed. “I have to look perfect for this dance!” she said.
“Ok, we can get our hair done by your aunt, cause she’s good at that stuff. And we can get our nails done at the salon downtown, they’re really good. And as for our shoes-”

“Lilly, take deep breaths. We have all night to figure this stuff out, remember? I’m sleeping over tonight,” she interrupted.

“I know, I’m just happy!” Lilly said, giddy.

Too bad she didn’t see the storm coming up the hallway. Her name: Madison Gonzalez.
