Dante was sitting on the same curb he ran away from Eve before. How could he face himself? He got caught cheating on his girlfriend and she would never understand.

He didn’t want to cry, so he just set his head in his hands.

This is horrible. He thought. Now I’m going to lose her, and the rest of her.

No, he had to make it work out. He can’t lose her. He’d go insane before he lost her.

He started frantically running back to Eve’s house.

Not going to lose her… He thought over and over.

He ran up to her house and almost ran into her. She was going out the door just as he was trying to get in.

Dante dropped down so fast on he knees he could have broken his kneecap.

“Eve!” He cried. “Let me explain!”
