The room seemed deathly cold, and Sora shivered in her light cardigan and sundress.
“What do you want with him?” she asked again, clenching her fist to stop herself from shuddering; she didn’t know from what. Pure terror, or just simply being cold.
“I like playing around with my little brother,” the voice commented smoothly.
Sora felt the blood drain from her face. Brother? This…this monster? The brother of the Aysen she knew and loved?
“Impossible,” she whispered.
“Impossible is nothing, my dear,” the man snickered. “Oh, where are my manners?” he mocked.
A hand slipped around her wrist, and two stone cold lips lightly kissed the back of her hand. Sora felt her spine become rigid.
“Samael, leader of the Vampire Clan, at your service.”
