I pulled out my stenopad and a leaky blue pen, feeling ten years old again in a college biology class. Who to write nice things about? Could I write nice things about everyone? I hurried to the homepage.

This, taken from that stenopad (without the crossing-outs, the crazy doodles, etc), is the result of my 2 minutes of laborious decision-making. Oh, damn, what did my professor just say about epithelial tissue?

To begin, of course, the ultimate Ficleteer in my opinion, THX 0477 . The sheer awesomeness of his writing never fails to astound, and he’s a nice-comment leaver. He also gets bonus points, as he’s entered pretty much every challenge I’ve ever seen, and isn’t afraid to put himself out there.

Next up, Ana Cristina, who never fails to produce amazing illustrations, using only 1024 characters. She’s amazing at sequeling, too.

Finally, Mistress Elsha Hawk. Her challenges, and responses to others, as well as her stories are inspiring to say the least. She is an extremely talented writer.
