“Yeah, maybe we can go to my place after!” Jason tried to raise his voice above the booming noise of the speaker system.

“Huh?” the young girl repiled, trying to yell above the noise too.

“Oh, nevermind.” Jason thought and walked away from the party and out the door.

Jason couldn’t get a girl, even if he was the last guy on the planet. He walked to his favorite diner on 57th street and sat down. Another bummed night.

Suddenley, a man who looked about thirty or forty sat down across from Jason, in the booth.

With the clothes he had on and the evil smile the man was wearing, he might as well of been the devil.

    Very mysterious and not exactly a likeable character, which is a change from the usual. Could go lots of ways.
