~~Hello, self.~~

Blech, too… I don’t know, but I know I don’t like it! You know what, I’ll just write..

OK so there’s this girl I hate in 5th period, Jenny. She sits in front of me and she’s so annoying. She’s always raising her hand and wanting to answer every little question the teacher asks. When she’s not doing that, she’s flipping her perfect hair. And when she’s not doing that, she’s flirting with the guy who sits on her left, George.

I really like George. But he doesn’t know I exist. I noticed that his face turned red today when Jenny started in on him again. She’s so pushy. I’d love to speak with him myself, but I don’t know what I would say. I’d probably say something stupid and then he’ll think I’m a moron or something.

Anyways… I just realized I haven’t introduced myself. I guess I don’t know the proper diary etiquette. I haven’t kept a diary in like ten years. My name is Helena and I’m a frustrated seventeen year old.

When I think of diaries, I think of my high school self, and how I used to keep these duo-tang folders and stuff them full of paper and just write and write and write. I’m trying to channel my seventeen-year-old self here, but I’m kind of rusty since it has been about 12 years… :p
But I guess I could always go to my own students for inspiration.

Very nice diary! I like the beginning because when I used to write a diary I would do that. Never did come up with a beginning,.

Very impressive job portraying the adolescent female. This reminds me that I really should pull out my journal and make an update or two. A lot has happened in the past 10 years.

You captured it well. Reminds me of all the high school drama. And I love the use of the crossed out words, the start and re-start.

Pretty funny, with some cliché comments. But good cliché. ‘Cause we recognize it and laugh at it. =)

I like it a lot. Yes, don’t the guys never seem to notice us, or know we’re alive? * sigh * I think you did a great job with the teenage girl…and, being one, myself, you portrayed the feelings pretty well.
