“Oh well, we could always do it again.” Macon smirked.
“No, no. Um just keep this to ourselves, please.” Macy whispered.
“I’ll think about it. In the meantime, I should make this fun.”
Macy interrupted, “What do you mean fun?”
“Hmm, what if I went and told him right now that we-”
“He wouldn’t believe you. Hangover.” She knew she would win this agrument.
“Okay what if I went and told Shane what you did? What do you say to that?”
Silence.
“Uh huh, nothing to say.” Macon continued, “I could explain to him how you wanted me to show you the car. How you purred in my ear-”
“Stop! You know that’s not true.” Macy pressed her fingers to her forehead.
“Oh it’s true all right. Did you drink the punch too? Is that why you-”
“Shut up.”
Macon grinned, he was winning for sure. “Okay, I’ll make you a deal. If you dump Derrick, I won’t tell Shane or anyone. Yeah I know what bothers you the most. Or did you forget I know everything?”
“Macon that’s so unfair.”
“Deal with it.”
Ugh.
