    I love your poem, especially the perfect blank canvas part
    it reminds me of when I was little, my mom turned one of our walls into a giant chalk board
    we drew all over it :D

    Yes, great poem! I agree that it sounds innocent and child-like : Forgive me / it was the perfect canvas / so blank / and so big. That part especially sounds like something a little kid would say. I love it =]
